Standing Seam Metal Roofing has panels that run vertically up the roof, or “standing seams.” This raised feature is what interlocks each panel of the roof from one panel to the next. Sometimes referred to as agricultural panel roofing or barn roofing, this roofing option provides a structure with long-lasting protection from the elements.  There are three types of standing seam roofs:

  • Through Fastened Standing Seam. This consists of sheets of corrugated metal secured by screws.
  • Nail Hem Standing Seam. Panels with a nailing strip down one side that allow for expansion and contraction of the roof.
  • Concealed Fastener Standing Seam. Panels clipped together with fasteners that allow for expansion and contraction of the roof.
