PROJECT SPECIFICS

Location

3133 Connecticut Avenue, N.W. | Washington, D.C.

During the later part of 2009 Simpson was awarded a contract to complete the commercial roofing replacement and facade restoration on this apartment building in Washington, D.C. The 41,000 square-foot commercial roof replacement consisted of the removal of the existing coal tar pitch roofing system to deck level and the installation of a new Siplast 2-ply modified bitumen commercial roofing system. The apartment building was fully occupied during our work and other trades were working on other projects throughout the process so communication between trades and Ownership was key. At completion, a twenty year total system manufacturer’s warranty was provided.
