Construction Cost Estimator – Travel required to Prince William, Fairfax, Loudoun and Culpeper counties in VA and Washington, DC. – To support the company’s commercial roofing and restoration operations by providing professional estimating and cost analysis for commercial construction projects. Review and analyze architectural and technical construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work. Prepare detailed cost estimates using professional estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, EDGE Estimator). Perform quantity takeoffs and material calculations based on project documentation. Evaluate construction methods, materials, and project conditions to determine accurate cost projections. Research and analyze supplier and subcontractor pricing. Apply construction standards and project specifications to estimating work. Conduct preliminary site visits and building assessments as needed to support accurate estimates. Prepare written cost proposals and pricing documentation. F/T, Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience in engineering or related position.
